Recipe: Spiced Nut Mix
These spiced nuts combine a variety of nuts and seeds with buttery maple syrup and fresh rosemary, creating a sweet, savory, and slightly spicy treat you can easily customize.

Ingredients
- 1 cup almonds
- 1 cup cashews
- 1/2 cup peanuts
- 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
- 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, minced (can substitute with any spices you like)
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
Note: I use roasted and salted nuts and seeds. If using raw or unsalted, add 1/4 teaspoon salt to the recipe.
Directions

- Heat oven to 325 degrees.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper so the maple syrup doesn’t stick.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the maple syrup and melted butter with spices.
- Add the nuts and mix well.
- Pour the nut mixture onto the parchment paper and spread out into an even layer.
- Bake in the oven for 25 minutes, until the nuts start to brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool.
- Store in a closed container at room temperature.
