Features

This midlayer uses two types of technical insulation that are body-mapped to deliver targeted warmth and breathability. Polartec Alpha inserts provide efficient heat retention while allowing sweat vapor to move freely through the fabric’s open structure. Paired with the grid-fleece interior, the system creates a lightweight jacket that offers impressive warmth for cold-weather hiking yet still releases excess heat so I don’t overheat on the climbs.

The fabric has a comfortable stretch that moves with me, and the fitted hood — with its elastic edge — stays securely in place over a brimmed hat. The jacket’s athletic cut is designed to sit close to the body for effective moisture wicking, and the strategic fabric panels do a great job of blocking wind.

Additional details, like the abrasion-resistant outer material, integrated thumb loops, and dual front zippers for venting heat, make this piece especially functional on active days.
